Classes are a fun way to learn and stay motivated. Join us as we learn together.
Mystery Quilt
Dates: Dec 5
If you love mysteries, this class is for you. Please sign up two weeks prior to the class so we have time to prepare your materials. All classes are on the first Saturday from 9:30am - 2:30pm.
Each class is a new mystery pattern.
$50 plus supplies.
Beginning Quilting 101
Dates: Nov 3, 17
Learn the basics of creating a quilt top with Paula as she teaches you the basics from proper rotary cutting techniques to an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and beyond. You'll finish the class with the confidence to tackle Quilting 201!
Cost: $150 + supplies

English Paper Piecing & Other Handwork w/Paula
Dates: Nov 13, Dec 11
Join Paula for all-things-hand-sewing. She loves EPP, hand piecing, hand applique, embroidery. . . really anything with a needle and thread! Bring your project or start something new and Paula will guide you thru stitching and embellishing to complete a master piece. All classes are on the second Friday from 10:00-12:00

Hand-Quilting

Got a finished quilt top waiting for its big moment? Let’s turn it into a hand-quilted masterpiece! Join Paula for a FREE class and discover the fun of hand quilting, one stitch at a time. She’ll introduce you to hoops, threads, and needles, then walk you through making your very first hand-quilted stitches. Ready to give that quilt top the finish it deserves? Sign up and let’s get stitching!

Brown Bag Club (BBC)

Join Paula for this monthly Brown Bag club over the lunch hour (12:00 am-1:00 pm) to show off your blocks each month. . . . .if your schedule is jam-packed and you can't take a long class, join this fun group for an hour each month.
Cost: One time sign up fee of $10.00.
Nov 2026 - We'll continue learning Paper Foundation Piecing! Chose from Scrappy Stars, Triangles, Diamonds, or Mountains.
Featherweight Friends
(3rd Saturdays)
Join fellow featherweight friends monthly as we learn how to maintain our Singer 221s and use them to make beautiful things! We'll be working on various projects throughout the year, but you are always welcome to work on your own project during our time together if you don't care to make the planned project. We can't wait to hear your story and how you came to own a Featherweight. 9:30-12:30 OR 1:00-4:00

Painting Class
Join us on a Monday, when we're normally closed, for a rather unusual way of quilting . . . we're gonna paint our blocks!
Regina & Jeremy Painter (yes, that really is there last name :-) will guide us thru painting four 12"x12" blocks of your chosing that will hang on a decorative ladder and adorn any space in your home from the front porch to your breakfast nook. Class fee includes supplies: $230

"Tools of the Trade"

​Carry everything you need in these sturdy organizers. The front zips open for easy access to rulers, cutting mats, tools and supplies. The small bag holds a 12" x 18" mat while the large will accommodate an 18" x 24" mat

Beginning Quilting 201
Dates: Jan 5, 12, 19, 26, Feb 2, 9
Take the next step with Paula after completing her Quilting 101 class. In this class you'll go beyond the basics and learn different techniques for creating half-square triangles, flying geese and much more! You'll finish this class with a quilt top that's uniquely yours.

Embroidery on Everything!
Dates: 25 Nov
Learn how to Embroidery on Everything! This 12-month course introduces you embroidery topics including in-the-hoop, patches, free-standing lace, terry cloth, applique, fleece and much more! If you're new to machine embroidery or just want to brush up on your embroidery knowledge, please join us for this fun-filled class using your own machine.
Cost: $150 (includes lessons & designs for all 12 classes) + supplies

Bernina Embroidery Software Version 9
Virtual Class​
This all day virtual class features a Bernina software expert who will guide us thru creating embroidery files using Version 9

Join us for a special guest instructor from The Golden Rule, LLC. He will demonstrate a pattern-fitting system designed to get results right every time. Whether you are learning to make garments or want to strengthen your skills, this one-hour lecture will introduce you to this fantastic product.

Runners Club has turned into
CHARM SCHOOL!
Love to take a class, but don't want to commit to a big quilt? Simply Charming patterns are quick and easy, using only a charm pack and a few accent fabrics. Projects range in size from table topper to tummy quilt. You must purchase a charm pack at the shop & the pattern is FREE!! (You don't have to take the class to get the FREE pattern.) There is a limited number of kits available to make one just like our shop sample, or make one with any charm pack we carry.
