Your space in a class is reserved when class fee is paid. We must have three registered for a class. If the minimum has not been met, we will notify you and refund your money. We understand that occasionally you may need to cancel. Due to expenses for our teachers, you must cancel one week prior to your class to receive a refund. Supplies are not included in class fee unless otherwise noted. Call us to check availability. Registrants will receive a supplies list when they register. In consideration of teachers and class members, we request that students turn off cell phones during class. All machine and serger classes require an appliance in good working condition complete with any essential accessories denoted on the applicable supply list.

You will need to bring your sewing machine, a pair of scissors to snip threads and glasses if you need them!

Students will bring their own embroidery machine capable of utilizing a USB stick to accept designs, in good working order, and have a good understanding of how their machine works. These workshops will feature in-the-hoop projects which are exclusive to the participants. The price includes a kit, printed instructions and embroidery design file for your machine. November will be the sixth meeting of this class.
The first class is a preparation class. Sandy and Paula will be doing hands-on teaching of basic paper-piecing as well as a lesson in fabric selection. Bring your sewing machine and come prepared to laugh and learn! This class will regularly meet the third Saturday of each month for a total of nine months.

Festive Tree Skirt

Enjoy making this full-sized tree skirt (40 inches) using a jelly roll and the June Taylor Quilt As You Go kit. The kit includes the printed batting and the template used to make the wedges and is available at the shop. You provide the jelly roll, backing, and fabric for the binding to complete this one-of-a-kind tree skirt. The shop has the kits and some Christmas fabric jelly rolls or bring one from you stash (we all have unused Christmas jelly rolls just waiting for the perfect project). Seating is limited and you will need to do some work prior to the class, so sign up as soon as possible and get your supply list.
Rulers For Rookies
